Produced from 1939-1941, Citroën TUB, followed by the TUC, vans saw their careers cut short by the war. However, these two were the pioneers of the front-wheel drive van. A sliding side door, lowered floor, access to the back from the front, and forward control: these are ideas that the Type H (1947) took up again in a related concept.
